Programmes

ThincLab Canterbury offers a range of transformative programmes tailored to accelerate business growth and development, catering to both cohorts and individual entrepreneurs seeking education and advisory services.

Cohort-based and Individual Education

ThincLab Technology Startup Incubator Christchurch

Operating in close collaboration with the University of Canterbury Centre for Entrepreneurship, our programmes encompass both cohort-based and individualized approaches, ensuring that participants benefit from a diverse array of learning experiences. This includes specialized virtual and in-person accelerator programmes aligned with regional strategies such as the Supernodes Strategy.

Community Support and Networking

Participants in our programmes gain access to a vibrant community comprising fellow entrepreneur founders, seasoned advisors, and potential investors. This supportive network facilitates knowledge sharing and fosters a culture of celebration around entrepreneurial achievements.

ThincLab Canterbury Growth Programme

Our flagship Growth Programme is tailored to support growth-stage companies with global ambitions. Through personalized one-to-one advisory sessions, participants receive targeted guidance aimed at propelling their businesses to the next level. The mentoring process challenges assumptions, establishes milestones, and encourages reflective practices among company founders and CEOs. Entry to the Growth Programme is competitive, with selection conducted by a panel.

ThincLab Canterbury PACE Programme

The PACE Programme offers a series of month-long modules designed to equip entrepreneurs with the resources, connections, and support necessary for business growth. Featuring weekly facilitated sessions with a small cohort of peers, this programme promotes practical, peer-to-peer learning through the utilization of business frameworks and group discussions. Participants also benefit from presentations and Q&A sessions with industry experts and established founders. The PACE modules run throughout the year, allowing founders to select topics of interest. Importantly, this programme is fully funded, with no cost to attend, and is open to founders of post-revenue Canterbury-based companies.

Entrepreneurs across the Canterbury region, as well as those within the university, are encouraged to apply for these programmes to leverage the comprehensive support and resources available at ThincLab Canterbury.
